Check out each trim level to see which Ford Escape trim option is the one for you.

S

The base trim is the Ford Escape S. This trim level starts at a price of $23,850. It is home to the 168-horsepower 2.5-liter iVCT I-4 engine. This trim option also has front-wheel drive as the standard option.

You don’t get a lot of extra features with the S, but it does seat up to five with 60/40 split-fold-flat rear seat backs. It also has the SYNC Enhanced Voice Recognition Communication and Entertainment System.

With the S, you get a great price as well as the basic technology you are looking for. It is a great option to consider.

SE

The next trim option is the SE. This trim level starts off at a price of $25,600 and it comes with a 179-horsepower 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine. This is a step up from the engine on the S, and it is also offered with a six-speed SelectShift transmission. This SE engine also includes Auto Start-Stop technology for fuel saving.

The SE includes all the features of the S, and it adds dual-zone automatic climate control, satellite radio and a power-adjustable driver’s seat.

You can also choose to add some extra features to the SE. These options are all-wheel drive for $995 and a panoramic sunroof for $1,750. You can also add navigation for around $800 or the SYNC 3 infotainment system for around $900.

The SE also offers a couple of packages you can add on. These packages include features like heated front seats, leather upholstery and blind spot monitoring, and they will cost you around $1,300.

The 2019 Ford Escape SE is a great trim option because it gives you a more powerful engine than the S, and it also gives you added features and available features to make it just the vehicle you want.

SEL

This trim is a new option that launched with the previous model year. The SEL start off at a price of a $28,005. This trim option features the same 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine with Auto Start-Stop technology as the SE trim. The differences with this trim come in the technology and the luxury

Escape SEL features the SYNC 3 infotainment system standard, so it’s a step up in technology from the lower trim level options. The SEL also features leather upholstery and a power liftgate.

The really great thing about the SEL is the upgraded technology. You get the SYNC 3 infotainment system standard, and that isn’t available in the S or SE. If technology is important to you, you might want to look into this trim.

Titanium

The Titanium is your highest trim option for the 2019 Ford Escape. This trim has a starting price of $32,045. This trim level also gives you the 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine standard. However, this is the only trim level that gives you the option of upgrading to a 2.0-liter Twin Scroll EcoBoost with Auto Start-Stop. This upgraded engine gives you 245-horsepower. This engine design has two chambers plus two exhaust runners flowing into the turbo, so it can maximize pulse energy for quick torque delivery.

This trim also gives you a 10-speaker Sony audio system and auto-dimming rearview mirror standard. If you so desire, you can add an equipment package for around $1,300 that adds some safety features like lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control.

You have a great trim option in the Titanium because you have the available 245-horsepower engine. You also get a 10-speaker Sony audio system and some other available features. This is your most expensive option, but with the great features, it’s worth the money!

Which is Right for You?

Which of these trim options is the best for you? Well, that depends on what features are most important to you. Are you a fan of technology or performance? Are you looking for safety features or comfort features? Maybe you are looking for all of the above.

Whatever you are looking for, you can find it in one of these trim options. The S is your base trim. It doesn’t offer many additional features, but it comes with an infotainment system and it is the cheapest price point at $23,850. The SE steps up from the S with a more powerful engine: a 179-horsepower 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine. Because of this the price of the SE is $25,600.

The SEL has the same engine as the SE, but it steps up with a SYNC 3 infotainment system and some other added features. It comes in at a price of $28,005. The Titanium is your high-end option with an available 245-horsepower engine and other features, but this is the most expensive option at $32,045.

If you are looking to get a great price, go with the 2019 Escape S. If you want a more powerful engine than the S without too big of a price tag, you will want the SE or SEL. The SEL also adds the SYNC 3 infotainment system if you are looking for a technology upgrade. Finally, the Titanium has the best engine option with other great features, so if you are looking for great performance, this is the vehicle for you.

Whatever you choose, you will have great options in the S, SE, SEL and Titanium trims of the 2019 Ford Escape.
