2016 Ford Explorer Coming to NH

The 2016 Ford Explorer is coming to Irwin Ford in Laconia, NH! The 2016 Explorer will feature a newly refreshed, upscale cabin and an all-new 2.3L EcoBoost engine available in both the FWD and AWD configurations. The new 2.3L EcoBoost delivers 280 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, and is an improvement over the outgoing 2.0L EcoBoost (which was only available on the FWD configuration anyway). The 2.3L EcoBoost will provide only 20 horsepower less than the naturally aspirated 3.5L V6, while providing 45 additional lb-ft of torque!

Improved driver aids and safety features provide additional peace of mind while traveling in comfort and style. Front and rear-view cameras with wide-angle lenses provide exceptional visibility, while handy features like perpendicular and park-out assists and semi-automatic parallel parking make parking easier than ever.

Another new addition to the 2016 model year is the top-end Platinum trim level. When you buy a 2016 Ford Explorer Platinum, you can expect nothing less than the best. Platinum gives you multi-contour massaging seats, top-notch interior materials such as real wood, brushed aluminum, and leather, and a host of technological features such as active park assist, lane-keeping assist, a Sony audio system with Live Acoustics and Clear Phase technologies, and much more. The Platinum trim level even comes with Nirvana leather, heated steering wheel, collision warning with brake support, and adaptive cruise control.
